ecoVINO says: This is a lovely and smooth medium-bodied Tuscan red wine, that is awesome for everyday drinking. This easy-drinking wine is fresh and fruity and is produced in the world-renowned Maremma DOC wine-making region of Tuscany. The wine has really good balance and structure and is perfect to drink now (or before the end of 2025), with or without food, whilst young.
Aroma: Delightful aromas of scrumptious fresh red fruits - particularly raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, plum and cherry – with evident herbaceous and vegetal notes (particularly tomato leaf) and subtle hints of white pepper.
Taste: Dry with low-to-medium acidity and soft tannins. Medium-bodied with medium alcohol and finish. Lots of lovely fresh red fruit flavours - particularly plum, cranberry, cherry and redcurrant. This is a very sumptuous and easy-drinking red wine.
Open: To fully appreciate the complexity of the wine, best to open at least 1 hour before service.
Service temperature: Low room temperature (16 to 18 degrees Celsius).
Food pairing: Fantastic as an aperitif alongside a few savoury snacks, or with appetizers and light dishes. This red wine also pairs very nicely with pasta dishes and pizza, and with light Asian dishes and dim sum.
Wine-making process: Grapes are carefully handpicked in the first two weeks of September. Each grape varietal is separately macerated in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After fermentation, the wine is blended together. Maturation takes place in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling. Refinement continues inside the bottle for 3 months.
Allergens: Minimal naturally-occurring sulphites lower than EU organic wine production requirements.
