ecoVINO says:  We absolutely love this delightful rosé wine from Villa Merighi. This is a fantastic off-dry rosé with lots of minerality from the Bardolino DOC region. This easy-drinking wine can be enjoyed with or without food with your family and friends.

Aroma:  Beautiful aromas of strawberry and cherry (sour, amarena and black), with subtle hints of rose, violet and green peppercorn.

Taste:  Off-dry with medium acidity and low tannins. Light-to-medium bodied with medium alcohol and finish. This rosé opens with strawberry, red cherry and cranberry flavours, with subtle hints of red apple and wet stones. This wine has great minerality, with hints of white cherry and peppercorn on the finish.

Food pairing:  Fantastic as an aperitif alongside a few savoury snacks, or with salads or low-fat and fresh tasting Mediterranean dishes and sauces.

Open:  No decanting required.

Service temperature:  Lightly chilled (10 to 12 degrees Celsius).

Winemaking process:  The harvested black grapes are macerated in stainless steel tanks for only 4 hours and continue fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16 degrees Celsius. Maturation continues in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.

Allergens:  Minimal naturally-occurring sulphites lower than EU organic wine production requirements.
