ecoVINO says:  We love this spirited crisp and fresh-tasting rosé wine from the Le Tende winery. This is an extremely well-balanced dry rosé wine, with lots of bite and minerality, from the Bardolino DOC region. This wine is great to drink now (or before the end of 2024) as an aperitif with your family and friends on a hot summer’s day.

Aroma:  Delightful aromas of red plums and red cherries, with overtones of candy (pear-drops), melon and banana, and floral hints of honeysuckle and violet.

Taste:  Dry with medium-to-high acidity and low tannins. Light-to-medium bodied with medium alcohol and a nice lingering finish. This lively rosé opens with pronounced flavours of small slightly unripened red fruits – particularly, cranberry, redcurrant and strawberry. This rosé wine has a really nice minerality, which provides a strong counterbalance to the acidity.

Food pairing:  Fantastic as an aperitif alongside a few savoury snacks, or with salads or low-fat and fresh tasting Mediterranean dishes and sauces.

Open:  No decanting required.

Service temperature:  Very chilled (4 to 6 degrees Celsius).

Winemaking process:  The harvested black grapes are macerated in stainless steel tanks for only 2 hours and continue fermentation at a controlled temperature. Maturation continues in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.

Allergens:  Minimal naturally-occurring sulphites lower than EU organic wine production requirements.
