ecoVINO says: This is a lovely and very fresh-tasting light bodied white wine, made using a blend of Garganega, Cortese, Trebbiano and Trebianello grapes. This results in a very easy-drinking and well-balanced dry white wine. The wine is perfect to drink now (or before the end of 2024) as an aperitif, or alongside a light meal with your family and friends.
Aroma: Delightful prominent aromas of green apples, pear drops, pink grapefruit and lime, with hints of wet stones in the background.
Taste: Off-dry with low-to-medium acidity. Light bodied with medium-to-high alcohol and a lovely finish. This fresh-tasting wine exudes lots of minerality and opens with an evident flavour of green apples (Granny Smith) with elegant citrus notes (pink grapefruit) on the finish.
Open: No decanting required.
Service temperature: Well chilled (8 to 10 degrees Celsius).
Food pairing: Great as an aperitif alongside a few savoury snacks, or with low-fat and fresh-tasting dishes and sauces. This wine also pairs very well with risotto and delicately fragranced Southeast Asian dishes.
Wine-making process: Each grape varietal is handpicked at optimal ripeness and fermented separately in stainless steel tanks at a low controlled temperature. After fermentation, the wines are blended together and then kept in contact with the lees for 4 months, resulting in a well-rounded off-dry white wine.
Allergens: Minimal naturally-occurring sulphites lower than EU organic wine production requirements.
