ecoVINO says: This elegant light-to-medium bodied Pinot Grigio is very well-rounded and nicely balanced. This is a very interesting dry white wine, with lots of minerality and good complexity. The wine is excellent to drink now (or before the end of 2024) and is best served very chilled. Perfect to drink as an aperitif, or alongside a light meal with your family and friends.
Aroma: Balanced aromas of sumptuous green and red apples and pear, with hints of jasmine.
Taste: Dry with medium acidity. Light-to-medium bodied with medium alcohol and a really good finish. Opens with delicate flavours of fresh-tasting green apples and gooseberry, with notes of jasmine and almonds. Closes with citrus notes (particularly grapefruit) and flavours of stone fruits (apricot and nectarine).
Food pairing: Great as an aperitif alongside a few savoury snacks, or with low-fat and fresh tasting dishes and sauces. This wine will also pair really well with lightly-fragranced Asian dishes.
Open: No decanting required.
Service temperature: Very chilled (4 degrees Celsius).
Winemaking process: The Pinot Grigio grapes are handpicked at optimal ripeness. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine is kept in contact with the lees for 6 months resulting in a well-rounded dry white wine. Maturation continues in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.
Allergens: Minimal naturally-occurring sulphites lower than EU organic wine production requirements.
