ecoVINO says: This lovely medium bodied Bardolino Classico Superiore DOCG red wine is lively and fruity. The wine has a good intensity and is well-balanced. It is best served slightly chilled after a good decant. Great to drink now (or before end of 2025). This easy drinking red wine can be enjoyed, with or without food, with your family and friends.
Aroma: Beautiful aromas of fresh and fruity small red fruits – particularly red cherry, raspberry, and strawberry - with hints of violet and spice (white pepper).
Taste: Dry with medium-to-high acidity and medium tannins. Medium bodied with medium-to-high alcohol and a medium finish. This fruity red wine opens with slightly sour flavours of red cherry, red plum and redcurrant, with subtle hints of almond, vanilla and spice on the finish.
Food pairing: Fantastic to drink slightly chilled as an aperitif - alongside a few savoury snacks - or with appetizers and light dishes. This red wine will also pair nicely with Asian dishes and dim sum.
Open: To fully appreciate this wine, it is best to decant at least 1 hour before service.
Service temperature: Lightly Chilled (13 to 15 degrees Celsius).
Winemaking process: Grapes are carefully handpicked at optimal ripeness. The grapes are macerated in stainless steel tanks for 15 to 20 days and continue fermentation at a controlled temperature. Maturation continues in stainless steel tanks for 12 months prior to bottling. Refinement continues for 1 month inside the bottle.
Allergens: Minimal naturally-occurring sulphites lower than EU organic wine production requirements.
